FAQs.
Here are some of our most commonly asked questions, if you can’t find what you’re looking for please get in touch.
Of course, this is how a lot of our projects start out. We’ll sit down together, discuss your idea and design something from scratch for you.
This is very dependent on the size of the job and how busy we are at the time. We will always give you a timescale when sending you your quote.
You certainly can, we’re happy to work from your drawings or we can refine a rough idea for you and draw something up ourselves.
We accept payment via BACS. We will order materials to start the job when funds have cleared.
Smaller items, yes. We also have spray shops we can recommend for bigger items.
Far too many to list here. We have a number of trusted and reliable sources for all of our materials, anything from live edge exotic woods to niche sheet materials, metals and plastics.
The list is long, but either a sentry box for a life-size Terracotta Army soldier or a replica Tardis, complete with infinity mirrors and touch screen photobooth.
Despite the name, we certainly do. Rupert is our master welder for steel applications and we have some trusted local suppliers for all things sheet metal.
Computer Numerical Control. It’s a machine capable of reading CAD files and cutting a design out of wood (or metal, stone, plastic etc). Great for signwriting and flat pack furniture amongst a million other things.
We are a fairly small operation, with low overheads so are able to keep costs down and provide an affordable service. We also absolutely love designing and building so if you throw a curveball idea at us we’ll probably get excited and you’ll get an even better rate!
